Relatiiv

Berlin-based Relatiiv play nu-soul & hip-hop influenced live electronic music, drawing inspiration from artists such as Tom Misch, Mahalia, FKJ and Jordan Rakei.

Born out of improvisational sessions with honesty at its core, this Catalan/Danish/German band found in Berlin a common ground and a passion for nu-soul and downtempo hip hop beats. As the creative process is repurposed into a collective therapy, their music dives into an intersection of electronics, soul and whispered emotion, represented as their true creative and mindful expression.

In June 2018 they self-released their sophomore single ‘Places’, after also having self-released their first EP ‘Unfold’ in April 2017. Since then, they have been playing shows and festivals around Berlin, Barcelona and Copenhagen supporting artists such as Lapalux (Brainfeeder), James Chatburn (Soulection), Noah Slee (Soulection) and Bad Gyal (Canada). They will be playing in the UK for the first time in July 2018 and are preparing new releases that are expected to come out in Autumn 2018.
