Dj Pony is an Italian dj/producer operating on the European / Worldwide electronic /dance/crossover scene. In 1999 formed his music style as part of Asian Undergound Collective, spinning records with London global beat djs: Nelson Dilation, Pathaan and Badmarsh. Later in the 2001 he founded Feel Good Productions together with DJ Funky Farmer. Dj Pony has been the leading inspiration as the promoter behind the long running Funkadelica / Balkanica clubnights, pushing ethnic/world music vibes and new urban beats. In the 2007 he founded his label Green Queen Music with long-term collaborator Luca Gatti (aka Dr. Cat) a record label based in London. Together they are already building up a respectable body of 75 releases, helping define and hone their own unique musical philosophy. In 2009 Dj Pony join the international Festival scene and established himself as a force to be reckoned with, and over the next few years continued to attract attention from all over Europe as well as further afield shed light on new musical territories for underground ravers and aural explorers the world over. Pony’s DJ style is always innovative and eclectic but keeps the dancing crowd jumping ! He plays anything: from Asian Bhangra to Arabic Techno, Brazilian Booty Beats, Balkanic Bangers, Psychedelic Dub, Afro-House, Vintage Reggae, Electro Cumbia , Nu Ragga breaks………!
